HOW
TO START A DAYCARE CENTER
In
today's world of trials and tribulations where families
have converted themselves into double income families
in order to make ends meet, the ones to suffer the maximum
are the children. Who does not want children? But the
problem is how to take care of them, when both husband
and wife need to go out to earn a living for the entire
family.
There
are dime a dozen crèches in any city, but how
many of them provide a home-like environment. Putting
a child into someone else's care also calls for seeing
that the care-taker is no less than a surrogate mother.
She should make up completely for the absence of the
mother. This is not only in terms of the personal
care she takes, but also about the surroundings that
she creates in her premises.
There
are two types of daycare centers; one is the commercial
ones run by full-fledged functioning schools or more
on the lines of being institutes themselves. The other
is what is known as in home daycares. Theses daycares
are run by housewives who convert their homes to nursery
during the day. They admit infants
of any month to the age group of pre-schoolers.
These
in home daycare centers actually function as an extension
of home as the setting is not as formal as the usual
daycare centers. They are also cheaper than other
daycare centers. This is because as far as infrastructure
is concerned, it is basically a home converted to
a nursery, so anyone setting up an in home daycare
needs to invest in the toys, the helpers and a few
other requirements.
The
prime advantage of admitting your child to an in home
daycare centre is that your child will surely be taken
care of by a person who loves children. This is more
so because only a person who enjoys taking care of
children would convert their home into a daycare centre.
And what could be more pleasing than placing your
young one in an extended home while you are busy at
work.
